A Los Angeles-based comedian and writer found several surprises in his double box pack of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, including shrimp tails and other foreign objects that had somehow found themselves in the cereal. TV writer Jensen Karp has begun a now-viral back and forth with cereal maker General Mills, where he included photos of what he said appeared to be 'shrimp tails' inside a bag that also appeared to have been taped up and pea-shaped particles which the Internet concluded could be 'rat droppings'.
The company informed Jensen on social media that the image showed not shrimp tails but “an accumulation of the cinnamon sugar that sometimes can occur when ingredients aren’t thoroughly blended. We assure you that there’s no possibility of cross contamination with shrimp.” “Accumulation of sugar particles,’” Danielle Fishel, Karp's wife responded, “I am truly at a loss for words.” She also tweeted emojis of shrimp and heartbreak. However, what the Internet found more interesting than the banter was when they discovered that the 'Cinnamon Toast Crunch shrimp dude' was actually Boy Meets World's Topanga's husband! A quick search into the couple's life and here's what we learnt about the couple's love story.

Jensen Karp and Danielle Fishel's love story
Previously known by his stage name Hot Karl, Californian writer, comedian, producer, podcast host, art gallery owner, actor, radio personality and former rapper, Karp, 41, signed a million-dollar record deal with Interscope in his early-20s and has gone on to produce and write for television and radio.
While it's unclear how long the couple had been dating, Karp was sharing photos of Fishel on Instagram since June 2017, reported E! Online. The pair seemed to be social media shy. On July 4, 2017 towards the end of episode #303 of his podcast 'Get Up On This', Karp announced that he was dating 'Full House' and 'Boy Meets World' actor, director, model, and television personality, Fishel.
'The only proof I need to know I’m lucky'
In November that same year, Fishel uploaded an Instagram video with a heartwarming post in honor of her man's birthday. "I'm not fond of public happy birthday messages but you're my exception. With certainty I can say there's not a single person who knows you who wouldn’t say you've made his or her life better in some way. You encourage and motivate people to be the best version of themselves, partially because you've worked so hard on yourself and know the benefits of self improvement first-hand," she said in the post.
"Your intelligence and sense of humor are without rival and despite always having at least seventy-two plates spinning at a time, you don't take your stress out on anyone. Your dedication to never settling means you elevate every project on which you work/create and those who've worked with you know you're an entertainment industry unicorn: a clean, sane, genius. You value, appreciate, respect, and love your mother and father and speak of them fondly and with pride, never blaming, judging, or overly criticizing them," she added.
She went on to praise her beloved, saying: "You support and express love for your friends easily and often, making you a true "best friend" to many. Brunch and Bill can’t cuddle you fast enough or long enough and it’s clear they know they hit the jackpot when you rescued them. You are my partner, the only man with whom I’d hold hands while he’s wearing socks and sandals, the brightest light in my life, the answer to a prayer, my biggest supporter, the power moons that fuel my ship, and the only proof I need to know I’m lucky. Special shout-out to Larry Karp and @haroldine for getting you here and raising you to be the MAN I am proud to call mine. Happy birthday, @Jensenclan88."
'It was anything but normal'
On March 22, 2018, Fishel and Karp got engaged. Fishel, 39, a 'Boy Meets World' alum, announced her engagement to 'Drop the Mic' executive producer on Instagram. "I woke up today thinking it would be a normal day and it was anything but normal," she wrote. "I put on my Genghis Cohen t-shirt and went to see @jensenclan88 at work where I proceeded to screw up a very romantic marriage proposal by being too efficient (this is very on brand for me). The future Mr. and Mrs. Karp are now engaged and no one is more excited than I am."
They married on November 4, 2018. Fishel posted a photo of herself and her husband in their wedding attire with the caption, “Mr. & Mrs. Karp. Established 11/04/2018." Karp also shared an Instagram a post with a picture of the couple and a touching tribute to his new wife saying, “Today I married my soulmate. We were surrounded by family and friends and it was the best day of my life." The comedian continued by joking about how much he indulged in food at the reception. “I also ate 3 donuts after dinner. Unrelated. @daniellefishel, I love you so much and thank you for giving me this smile,” he added.
The wedding ceremony at Carondelet House in Los Angeles and the reception included a 'Boy Meets World' reunion, with co-stars Ben Savage and Will Friedle in attendance. The star-studded event also included Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda and Grammy Award-winning artist John Mayer, who was one of Karp’s groomsmen and performed Beyonce’s hit "XO." Fishel was previously married to fellow California State University, Fullerton student Tim Belusko and separated in May 2016.
In January 2019, Fishel announced that she and Karp were expecting their first child in July 2019. The couple welcomed a baby boy, Adler Lawrence Karp, on June 24, 2019, almost one month early.
