If you've ever wondered what soundtracks Gwyneth Paltrow's plays penning posts for Goop or chilling with her kids Apple and Moses, we now have answers. The 43-year-old talked favorite tunes on SiriusXM and revealed it's mainly a toss-up between Taylor Swift and her ex Chris Martin's music in her house.
The mom-of-two revealed that she's been a Coldplay fan since before she even met her former husband, with whom she famously "consciously uncoupled" in 2014. On the "My Favorite Song" segment with host John Benjamin Hickey, she explained how she'd found comfort in the song "Everything's Not Lost" when she lost her father.
"[Martin] wrote this song before I met him, and I think another reason it's sad for me is my father had just died when this album came out, and we used to listen to it kind of on repeat. This album was kind of getting my brother and I through that death," she explained.
She then explained how she met the Coldplay front man three weeks later "when I was fanning out on A Rush of Blood to the Head."
However, Martin has competition for airtime at home as his daughter Apple, 11, is a big fan of Swift—and so is her mom, if the interview is anything to go by.
