Professional wrestler Dustin Patrick Runnels was born in the United States on April 11, 1969. Currently, he is affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he competes as Dustin Rhodes. His many employments with WWE between 1995 and 2019 under the ring moniker Goldust are what made him most famous.
He is a second-generation wrestler who is the half-brother of Cody Rhodes and the son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. He is also widely known for his performances in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNAW) (TNA).
On September 13, 1988, Runnels made his professional wrestling debut as “Dustin Rhodes,” defeating Bob Cook in a bout for the Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF) promotion, based in Tampa.
The promotion was renamed the Professional Wrestling Federation after Runnels Rhodes’ father Dusty Rhodes began wrestling there in February 1989. Runnels won the NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship by defeating Al Perez on May 23, 1989, and he held it for a month.
On November 11, 2020, in a Bunkhouse match, “The Natural Nightmares” came together once more to defeat Butcher and Blade. At AEW Battle of the Belts on January 8, 2022, Dustin was defeated by Sammy Guevara in the interim AEW TNT Championship championship match.
